Here is the OneRepublic Waking Up track-list, along with the second official single, Everybody Loves Me, lyrics and video. The Grammy nominated pop-rock band’s highly anticipated sophomore studio album will be released on Nov. 17, 2009.
Comprised of frontman Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle, and Eddie Fisher the band is signed to Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group label at Interscope. Tedder has additionally received notoriety in recent years as a hitmaking songwriter and producer for Leona Lewis, (‘Bleeding Love’) and Kelly Clarkson (‘I Do Not Hook Up’) among other top artists.
The band’s debut album Dreaming Out Loud produced one of the biggest hits of the 2000s, Apologize, a multi-platinum international hit which also holds the record as the most legally downloaded song in history to date. It was subsequently remixed by Timbaland.
In a recent interview with Campus Circle, drummer Eddie Fisher reflected upon the band’s successes noting that their signature song Apologize was written seven years ago.
It’s like with Dreaming Out Loud we went through puberty, you know, musical puberty, and this album has made us into men. That’s exactly how I feel about it,” Fisher explains. “Writing this album was a completely different turn for us. We are very excited about it because it’s more rhythmic with big vocals, big choruses, big sing-alongs, a lot of strings and we even threw in a children’s choir.”
