Here is the Michael Jackson This Is It track-list; the highly anticipated movie soundtrack album, will be released on Oct. 27, 2009. The new song and title track will be unveiled at midnight, 12am ET on Oct. 12, 2009 on the official MichaelJackson.com Web site. The previously unreleased song serves as the album’s lead single and features backing vocals from the late King of Pop’s brothers, The Jacksons.

Additional unreleased material on the album includes Michael Jackson’s spoken word poem, Planet Earth, which appears on Disc 2 along with previously unreleased arrangements of classic songs according to Rolling Stone which goes on to note that two different versions of the new song will be included; one which plays during the ending of the movie and an orchestral version. The album serves as soundtrack to the movie This Is It, which was directed by MJ's concert director and collaborator, Kenny Ortega, set for worldwide release on October 28, 2009 (with advance screenings on Oct. 27) in a two-week run prior to release on DVD. The official trailer can be seen below. Using previously unseen footage the movie will chronicle MJ's preparations and rehearsals for the series of 50 concerts, This Is It which would have begun at O2 Arena in London in mid-July 2009.
