Joss Stone Jimmy Kimmel Live Video 10-1-09

Inglourious Basterds Premiere - 2009 Cannes Film Festival

Here is the Joss Stone Jimmy Kimmel Live video from Oct. 1, 2009. Her performance was in support of her highly anticipated forthcoming third studio album Colour Me Free (track-list below) which will be released on October 20, 2009 exclusively at Target. The Grammy Award winning British soul and R&B singer performed Free Me.

The new album features a variety of guest appearances from Nas, Sheila E., Raphael Saadiq, and Jeff Beck fusing genres including R&B, soul, hip-hop and funk. The album was recorded at her mother’s club in Devon England, Mama Stone. Of the album, Joss Stone said:

“I woke up one morning and wanted to make an album,” Stone said. “It’s very, very raw -
basically a bunch of musicians, writers, and myself just jamming. The album was not
dictated or forced. It was an organic process where each musician was given the freedom to
create their sound.”
