Here is the U2 Saturday Night Live video from September 26, 2009. The legendary Irish rock band performed on the 35th SNL season premiere which was hosted by Megan Fox. Performances of Moment of Surrender, Breathe, and Ultraviolet (Light My Way) from their most recent album, No Line on the Horizon, and their 1991 album, Achtung Baby, and are below. It marks the band’s first appearance on the program since 2004.
The band is presently on the North American leg of their acclaimed U2 360 tour. The stadium tour is ongoing through the fall of 2010 and has used and yet to use numerous supporting acts during various concert dates, including Muse, Black Eyed Peas, Glasvegas, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, and Snow Patrol.
