Here are U2 Giants Stadium set-list, reviews, photos and concert video from Weds. September 23, 2009 at East Rutherford, New Jersey as part of the North American leg of the U2 360 world tour in support of ‘No Line on the Horizon,’ the legendary Irish rock band’s twelfth studio album, with Muse as the opening act.
As the New Jersey Star-Leger reports, the concert which saw more than 82,000 tickets sold, included two tributes, the first of these to Bruce Springsteen on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The band performed “She’s the One” — with lyrics changed to “he’s the one.” The band also honored Quincy Jones, present at the concert, by singing part of the Michael Jackson signature hit which Jones had produced, “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough.” [Source: U2 larger than life at Giants Stadium]
The critically acclaimed U2 360 tour continues through the fall of 2010 with the 360 degree stage designed by the band’s long-term concert directer Willie Williams and architect Mark Fisher. The tour features a variety of supporting acts appearing on various concert dates; Black Eyed Peas, Glasvegas, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, and Snow Patrol.

show was a b-
C+ after departing traffic mess
1) why does giants stadium keep the lights on in the 200 level? what a vibe killer. avoid sec 233 at all costs – sound was afful (~90 degreess to bono’s right)
2) had to move my seats, nothing more annoying than having to grease a ticket guy for better seats after spending 500 buck already.
3) Really? Three new songs to open the show? Really? bad idea guys. how to kill a concert vibe in 10 easy minutes.
4) enough with the gospel hands-in-the-air nonsense! pick up the groove guys! i came to rock out, not hug it out.
5) drummer was so lazy – made vertigo into a ballad – he was so slow with his back beat.
6) terrible encores. i felt like sticking y head in an over.
they are old philanthopists at this point in their life. no balls any more.
