Here is the official Three Days Grace ‘Break’ video and lyrics in support of the lead single of their third studio album, Life Starts Now (track-list below) which will be released on September 22, 2009. It is the first album from the Canadian alternative rock band’s platinum-selling 2006 sophomore album One-X.

The band is from Ontario, Canada and comprised of frontman Adam Gontier, drummer Neil Sanderson, bassist Brad Walst and guitarist Barry Stock. In an interview with the Peterborough Examiner, Walst discussed the meaning behind the lead single and the album as a whole, noting that one of his favorite quotations is the John Lennon “Life is what happens to you when you’re busy making other plans.” He went on to reveal he returned home after five years of touring with the band to find his son had been diagnosed with cancer. He went on to note fellow band members had faced challenges and difficulties as well.

“We all came home and got a harsh dose of life…It taught us to not sweat the small stuff…The whole record is confronting life and how fragile it can be.”

Lead single Break, he revealed, is about “breaking away from bad influences.”
