Here is the Susan Boyle America’s Got Talent video of her live performance September 16 2009 on the season 4 final. She delivered a standout performance of Wild Horses, the lead single of her forthcoming debut album, I Dreamed a Dream set for release on November 24, 2009. The song is a cover of the Rolling Stones’ classic, written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

The highly anticipated performance marked her first appearance in the U.S. where she landed earlier in the week and surrounded by paparazzi thereafter. The performance is in support additionally of the forthcoming debut album. Although the full track-list has not yet been revealed, according to the The Times Online, reportedly the album will include the other song for which she is known at Britain’s Got Talent, Memory, from the musical Cats, along with the jazz standard Cry Me a River which was included on her demo reel which hit the internet earlier this year. Although only one song from the album has been heard by the public, Piers Morgan, the Britain’s Got Talent judge who has long been the singer’s advocate offered his assessment via his blog.

“A woman’s voice I didn’t recognise started singing, in a hauntingly beautiful way, and I thought at first that it was a young Barbra Streisand.

“Thirty seconds later, I realised to my astonishment that it was Susan Boyle, and this was the first track from her debut album.

“‘Oh. My. God,’ I stammered. You’ll read and hear a lot of hype about this record (it’s already at the top of the Amazon charts but doesn’t get released until the end of November) but take it from me – this little 48-year-old lady from a tiny Scottish village is going to stun the world with what she is recording.”
