Kid Cudi Letterman Video 9-11-09

Here is the Kid Cudi Letterman video. He performed Pursuit of Happiness with Ratatat on Late Show with David Letterman on September 11, 2009 in support of the forthcoming release of his highly anticipated debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day which will be released on September 15, 2009.

Known for his breakout debut single, ‘Day N Night’ which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, Kid Cudi the up and coming rapper originally from Cleveland, Ohio has additionally collaborated with Kanye West and made a guest appearance on the latters’s album 808s & Heartbreak. His forthcoming album was produced by Kanye West, Ratatat, Plain Pat, and Emile and has a number of guest appearances, including Common and MGMT.

In an interview with Honey Magazine, he talked about his early aspirations and how they have changed over the years.

Well at first it started off I was 15 and I was like, “Man I want to be famous and I want to take care of my family and I want to be recognized.” And then as I got older, I said “I need to do this because I have something to say and I know people can learn from it.” When I got people responding to “Day N Nite” it really made me believe that I was on the right track.
