Here is the official Jordin Sparks S.O.S. (Let the Music Play) video, lyrics and recent photos. It is in support of the second single from her sophomore studio album Battlefield which was released in July 2009. As the title references, the electro-pop dance osong samples the 1983 classic by Shannon “Let the Music Play.” The single was produced by Cutfather, Pilfinger, and David Kopatz. The music video was directed by Chris Robinson and shot on location in Los Angeles.
Regarding the up-tempo dance track, AceShowBiz.com quotes the Grammy nominated singer-songwriter and American Idol alum’s assessment:
“I’ll always be the ballad girl from ‘American Idol’, but I wanted to try something new, though not so far that people wouldn’t believe me.”
