National Geographic E-Mail Order Bride

Here are National Geographic E-Mail Order Bride video and photos. The documentary will air on NGC on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 9pm ET.

The program will examine the controversial “E-mail order bride” business which matches American men with women from other countries. The documentary follows events unfolding as two men from the U.S. take an awkward and anxiety ridden trip to Togliatti, Russia in hopes of finding true love. The industrial city is known as “Russia’s Detroit.”

National Geographic E-Mail Order Bride will allow the audience to glimpse the otherwise secrative world and reveal the experience of those who are in the midst of it. Unfolding events, from meeting the potential bride to making it to the altar to legalize the union.

Despite numerous contacts from male clients within the marriage agency, they have yet to find a suitable client to peak their interests. (photo credit: Anna Rodzinski)
