The legendary pop diva’s forthcoming album has been thrice previewed at listening parties in London, New York and Los Angeles on July 21, 2009 in anticipation of the release with legendary music industry mogul Clive Davis, who originally discovered Whitney Houston in the 1980s moderating, and Houston also present along with her teenage daughter Bobbi Kristina.
According to the L.A. Times, Davis said the album was three years in the making…

“…because we kept wanting to set the bar high, in the tradition of the great vocalists, such as Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan and Lena Horne.”

“I took my time,” Houston later added.
