Mariah Carey America’s Got Talent Video 8-5-09

Here is the Mariah Carey America’s Got Talent video of her performance of Obsessed, broadcast on the NBC reality TV talent show on August 5, 2009. It is the official lead single from’ Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ her forthcoming twelfth studio album. The performance was taped on August 2 for broadcast on that date, but a video of her performance has hit the Internet which you can see below.

Mariah Carey co-wrote the single with The-Dream who produced the track along with Christopher “Tricky” Stewart. Despite a number of public denials from Carey, the song has been believed to be an Eminem diss, referring to his track from Relapse, Bagpipes From Baghdad. Carey infamously portrayed three roles in the music video, as pictured above, one bearing a resemblance to the Slim Shady rapper. Subsequently, the song has sparked a response from Eminem, The Warning, a Mariah Carey Diss.
