Beastie Boys have canceled their tour and postponed their forthcoming album due to Adam “MCA” Yauch cancer diagnosis and treatment. As Billboard reports, the Jay-Z All Points West set-list of 28 songs opened with the Beastie Boys signature hit No Sleep Till Brooklyn, from their debut album, “Licensed to Ill” (1986) and he also dedicated his performance to Yauch, and paid tribute to the Beastie Boys and their legacy, calling them, “pioneers, one of the reasons I’m on this stage.”

The Jay-Z All Points West video reveals also his tribute to King of Pop Michael Jackson, by presenting a montage of video and photos of Jackson and playing a recording of the Jackson 5 classic. “I Want You Back”. Billboard further reports he said:

“If you take one thing from this concert, it should be that we don’t mourn death, we celebrate life,” Jay-Z said, noting his disapproval that Jackson’s album sales hit record-breaking highs only after his death in June.
