Here is the Eminem Beautiful video, in support of the track from his newly released Eminem’s sixth studio album, Relapse, the first in nearly five years for the eight-time Grammy Award winning rapper.

The Eminem Beautiful video was shot on location in Detroit Michigan and features several landmarks including Michigan Central Depot and Tiger Stadium.

The music video is in support of the only track on the album which the rapper also produced. The lyrical track samples Rock Therapy’s ‘Reaching Out and documents Eminem’s struggles in the past few years with drug addition. In a recent interview he stated the intentions behind the Detroit imagery.

“Tiger Stadium is being torn down, and the train station is supposed to be demolished too. This video is one of the last times anybody outside of Detroit is going to see them,” Em said. “I wrote ‘Beautiful’ when I was really down, during a difficult time struggling with my addiction. It’s a reminder to keep your head up, and to see who you really are despite what you may be going through. Now that I’ve gotten through the toughest part, I see how the song relates to Detroit, and it feels even more powerful to me.”

Eminem — real name Marshall Mathers III and a.k.a. Slim Shady had been absent from the music world since his 2004 album Encore. The release of the new album, Relapse, marks his fifth straight album to debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. His 1999 debut album, The Slim Shady LP, debuted at No. 2 .
