Here is the Kelly Rowland David Guetta Le Grand Journal video of their live performance of When Love Takes Over’ on the French TV show on June 17, 2009.

The single has been released as the lead single of the French DJ’s fourth studio album, One Love, which will be released on August 25, 2009 in the U.S. and September 2009 internationally. The single is a top 10 single in several countries around the world, has topped the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart and is on the verse of topping the UK Singles Chart.

The musical collaboration is a first between the Rowland, the Grammy Award winning R&B singer-songwriter, who was formerly of Destiny’s Child along with Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams. and Guetta whom DJ Magazine voted World DJ No. 5 and No. 1 House DJ No. 1 in 2008.

Kelly Rowland who met DJ David Guetta in Cannes, France last summer at one of his techno shows, talked about how the song came about in a recent interview.

“I felt so much emotion from the track; something happened the first time I heard it, and it was just beautiful.”

David Guetta had this to say:

“The track with Kelly has made me experiment with a more American urban influence,” Guetta says. “Musically, it’s opened a new world for me. It’s pure pop with a lot of detail, and Kelly had this Whitney Houston vibe and nailed it.”
