Here is the Jay-Z D.O.A. Death of Auto-Tune video of the live performance which took place on June 7, 2009. See photos and the Jay-Z Hot 97 Summer Jam video from at annual concert put on by New York City radio station Hot 97 the at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Jay-Z made his surprise appearance and performed the song during Young Jeezy’s set with T-Pain also on stage.

It is the street single, official lead single of eight-time Grammy Award winner Jay-Z’s will release his eleventh studio album, The Blueprint 3 on September 11, 2009. The single, which had its premiere on Hot 97, has drawn much attention in the days since its release. In an interview with MTV News, Jay-Z explained his intentions.

“The guys who did it, did it great,” he explained. “T-Pain, he does great melodies. If you listen to Kanye, great melodies. If you listen to [West's] ‘Say You Will’ or ‘Heartless,’ great melodies. [Lil Wayne and T-Pain's] ‘Lollipop’ was a fantastic melody. Everybody can’t do it. Let them guys do it. They got their little niche, let’s move on. That’s just my opinion. I don’t know if everybody feels the same way.”
