Beastie Boys

Here is the Beastie Boys Jimmy Fallon video. The Grammy Award winning veteran hip hop group made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on May 25, 2009. Accompanied by house band The Roots, the group performed ‘So What’cha Want’ which is one of their signature hits, from Check Your Head, their 1992 third studio album.

The Beastie Boys have also revealed the title of their new album. Their next album, which will be their eighth studio album is Hot Committee. Unlike their 2007 album The Mix-Up, which was an instrumental album, the new album will be a return to the group’s tradition of vocals and instrumentals. Their 2007 album won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album.

The Beastie Boys Hot Committee album tracklisting and release date have not been confirmed. According to Billboard, rapper Santigold recorded a guest appearance for the forthcoming album. (See: Beastie Boys Complete ‘Hot Sauce Committee’ Album)

Beastie Boys bassist Adam MCA Yauch discussed the new Beastie Boys album whose working title had been Tadlock’s Glasses, in an interview earlier this year as the group was finishing up recording.

“It’s a combination of playing and sampling stuff as we’re playing, and also sampling pretty obscure records…”There are a lot of songs on the record and there are a lot of short songs and they kind of all run into each other.”

The group will be headliners at several summer music festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, All Points West, Outside Lands, and Austin City Limits.
