The R&B singer-songwriter delivered an exciting live acoustic performance of ‘When Love Takes Over’, her collaboration with renown French DJ David Guetta. The BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2009 festival took place in at Lydiard Park in Swindon, England during the weekend of May 9,10 2009.
The single has been released as the lead single of Guetta’s fourth studio album, One Love, which will be released on August 25, 2009 in the U.S. and September 2009 internationally.
The David Guetta Kelly Rowland When Love Takes Over video musical collaboration is a first between the Rowland, the Grammy Award winning R&B singer-songwriter formerly of Destiny’s Child along with Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams and Guetta who was voted No. 1 House DJ and World DJ No. 5 in 2008 by DJ Magazine.
As a solo artist, Kelly Rowland’s most recent album is the 2007 sophomore solo album, Ms. Kelly, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200. The album was re-released in 2009 as Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe, with remixes and new tracks.
