Here is the Susan Boyle I Don’t Know How To Love Him Video and lyrics. It is a home video from 1986 with the 25 year old Susan Boyle singing at her parents’ fiftieth wedding anniversary. Listen and watch as the young singer performs the classic song from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Years ago, an unknown, and now, quite famously know as the Britain’s Got Talent Susan Boyle of Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland, watching the video is fascinating glimpse into the 47-year-old singer’s past.

The UK newspaper The Mirror uncovered the video. See the full video, a grainy home video showing family members including her late parents, Patrick Boyle and Bridget Boyle, surrounding the singer. Previous early recordings that have surfaced are audio only; a demo tape from circa 1999 with the Roberta Flack Killing Me Softly signature song, and the 1999 CD recording for charity featuring the singer singing Cry Me A River. UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph and The Scottish newspaper, The Daily Record, respectively, released the recordings to the world.

The song is from the 1970 musical Jesus Christ Superstar, music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice hit Jesus Christ Superstar later made into a movie in 1973. Yvonne Elliman was the first to record the song in 1971 which Helen Reddy covered, the same year.

In an interview, Susan Boyle’s brother Gerry Boyle reminisced about the occasion and the Susan Boyle I Don’t Know How To Love Him video.
