Watch an awe inspiring Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Holliday duet video. The powerhouse singers delivered an electrifying rendition of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” live on stage in Atlanta, Georgia April 16, 2009, at Fox Theatre as Hudson’s headline tour with fellow R&B singer Robin Thicke was in town that night.

The song is Broadway legend Jennifer Holliday’s signature song from the 1981 Broadway production of Dreamgirls in which she originated the role of Effie White and she received a Tony Award. The song became a hit single and won the Holliday a subsequent Grammy Award.

Jennifer Hudson former American Idol received an Academy Award for her performance as Effie White in the movie version of the hit musical.

Previously, in June 2007, the pair performed a Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Holliday duet of the hit song on BET Awards when the latter made a surprise appearance, much as she did in Atlanta.

For the extremely fortunate concert goers the Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Holliday Duet made for a memorable night. But that same night in Atlanta, saw yet another guest appearance; American Idol Season 3 winner Fantasia joined Jennifer Hudsonfor a duet of their single I’m His Only Woman,’ from Hudson’s self-titled debut album, which won the 2009 Grammy for Best R&B Album.
