Here is the Sound of Music Train Station Video which has gone viral. Witness 200 dancers take over Antwerp Station in Belgium, (Centraal station in Antwerpen) dancing to the famous Do Re Mi song from the Sound of Music musical and movie variously known as Maria’s Dance and Maria’s Song. The video has been around since late March 2009 and grows increasingly popular.
It follows in the tradition of flash mob events. and is reminiscent of the now famous T-Mobile ‘Dance’ Ad Liverpool Street Station Video.Like other such events it is a promotion, in this case for a TV program, VTM ‘In Search of Maria’ according to reports in RLT Boulevard) and De Standard but nonetheless it is sheer joy to watch and hear.
