Here is the official Eminem We Made You Video. See the video and lyrics here. It is the lead single from the Oscar and Grammy winning rapper’s highly anticipated sixth album, Relapse, his first in five years, since the 2004 Encore. The single was produced by Dr Dre (who has a cameo appearance in the video) with a chorus sung parodistically by ‘Jessica Simpson.’ 50 Cent also has a cameo in the video. Relapse is scheduled to release on May 19, 2009.

The entertaining music video was directed by Joseph Kahn (who has directed videos for Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga), reveals a mad romp through pop culture, complete with comical impressions and costumes of familiar iconic figures including Star Trek characters and Elvis Presley. Along the way, Eminem a.k.a. Slim Shady, also name checks, impersonates and ultimately slams numerous celebrities including Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian, along with music artists such as Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse. Even Alaska Governor Sarah Palin gets a mention.

“There’s some celebrity bashing in it,” Em warned in a clip from the video set obtained by MTV News. “I wanna say it’s not necessarily intentional bashing in it; it’s not necessarily taking deliberate shots at people. … Yes, it is. What the f— am I talking about?” [...]

The multiple disses in the video seem to be inspired by the track’s sing-songy chorus: “When you walked through the door, it was clear to me/ You’re the one they adore, who they came to see/ You’re a rock star, everybody wants you.”

Before the video’s premiere, Eminem said that he was using the song as a kind of Jedi mind trick. “Hot chicks who don’t want me, I’m telling them they do,” he explained. “It’s kind of like a reverse-psychology thing, and I’m gonna see if the record comes out and it works.”
