The 81st Academy Awards take place on February 22, 2009.  See winners, photos, video, live blogging and watch the Oscars online.   It’s the biggest movie event of the year  as the Academy hands out the annual awards starting at 8:00pm Eastern Time (GMT – 5). Hugh Jackman will be hosting the live awards show which broadcasts from the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, California. The actor starred in ‘Australia’ and will appear as the title character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
