Rosario Dawson graces the cover of Max Magazine January 2009 issue and is featured in a provocative photo shoot and an interview.  See all the photos and recent video of the actress who most recently starred as Will Smith’s love interest in Gabriel Muccino’s Seven Pounds and previously appeared in Sin City, Death Proof and as Mimi in the screen adaptation of the Broadway hit, Rent.

In the interview with the Italian magazine, Rosario Dawson talks about Seven Pounds and what it was like to work with director Muccino who also directed the hit movie Pursuit of Happyness, based on the bestselling memoir of the same title; his first collaboration with Will Smith. All three were recently in Europe appearing at various premieres of the movie, Dawson most recently at the Berlin premiere on January 6, 2009 (photos at Lossip) and the French premiere on January 5 (more photos at Lossip).

She will be appearing at Gala Latina on January 18, 2009  in Washington D.C., as part of the Barack Obama Inauguration, with fellow ‘Voto Latino’ colleagues, Wilmer Valderrama and Tony Plana where Paulina Rubio and Marc Anthony are among the performers.  The event will raise money for the nonprofit, Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino which seeks to bring the proposed museum to fruition.

“Bringing together such an incredible variety of entertainers will ensure that the Latino Inaugural Gala will be, without a doubt, one of the greatest and most memorable inaugural celebrations to date,” stated

Ramona Martinez, Chair of the DNC Hispanic Caucus, one of the organizations co-hosting the event.
