Here is the official music video for Christiana Milian’s single “Us Against the World.” See the video and promo photos here. It’s the lead single from her forthcoming fourth studio album Dream in Color set for release in April 2009 on MySpace Records, her first album for the record label since her departure from Def Jam in 2006. The music video was directed by Ray Kay.
The R&B and pop singer-songwriter wrote the single, which was produced by Madd Scientist , who has worked with Leona Lewis and Jesse McCartney among others. She described it as a “cinematic power ballad” in an interview with Billboard.
“I’ve been out of the game for one-and-a-half years, and I think I’m long overdue for a comeback, so I’m treating this album like it’s my last chance to make an impression. I’m competing with myself and being very detailed,” the 26-year-old Cuban-American tells Billboard. “Before, I had a label telling me what direction to go in. Now, it’s my choice, so I’m being very particular about it and I’m really excited.”

The highly anticipated album also features production from include T-Pain, Cool and Dre, Jim Jonsin, Toby Gad and Danja. Guest appearances from Kanye West and Pitbull are confirmed, according to Rap-Up.com
“It’s very feminine,” Christina told Rap-Up.com about her first album since 2006’s So Amazin’. “I find that there’s been a lot of maturity in my vocals. [So Amazin’] was a little more urban-pop, so this one is pop-urban-international.”
