Here is the official music video for N.E.R.D.’s “Sooner or Later,” the third single from their third studio album Seeing Sounds, in stores now. Watch the video and a behind the scenes video.

In the very timely music video, directed by The Malloys, N.E.R.D. members–producer/performer Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, along with Shay Haley–portray janitors working at a bank after the stock market crash. The Malloys, brothers Emmett Malloy and Brendan Malloy, have directed music videos for numerous top artists including Dave Matthews Band, Black Eyed Peas, Sheryl Crow, Santana, and The White Stripes.

Commenting on the concept behind the video itself, one of The Malloys, Emmett Malloy, explained that he comes up with such an idea after watching the news in the media reporting the stock market crash. “…It’s really about the market kinda going down and it ends in a pretty hopeful way …,” he stated.
