T.I. performed his chart topping hit “Whatever You Like” on Saturday Night Live on December 6, 2008 with a live band and DJ Drama. It’s the third single from the Grammy Award winning rapper’s sixth studio album, Paper Trail is in stores now.
T.I. will next appear on network television on NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly along with Katy Perry and other music artists. For the first time, the annual program will be broadcast in prime time, beginning at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
The addition of T.I. is huge,” Daly said regarding the performance lineup. “Since the end of June, either T.I. or Katy Perry has predominantly held the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. More importantly, with T.I. we get the artist of the year to perform in primetime.”
