Britney Spears delivered her first ever live performance of “Womanizer” at the 2008 Bambi Awards in Offenburg, Germany. Watch the video and see photos here. “Womanizer” is the lead single from the pop superstar’s highly anticipated sixth studio album Circus, which will be released on December 2, 2008, her 27th birthday. Her attire–hot pants, fishnet tights, tall boot and a black top hat–was quite similar to that of Madonna’s on her Sweet and Sticky World Tour.

The Bambi Awards have been given annually by the Hubert Burda Media group since 1948 to honor “people who have especially moved and elated the German audience with their vision and creativity.”

Britney Spears was also honored with special Bambi category pop international award at the show.

She then collected her Bambi award from designer Karl Lagerfeld, who said she had come back “not only as a phoenix but as a bird of paradise.”

Her appearance at the Offenburg event comes ahead of her performance on Saturday’s edition of The X Factor.
