A live rickroll at the 2008 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade by none other than Rick Astley himself. He made a surprise appearance on board Cartoon Network parade float, the Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends, interrupting the puppets who were singing “Best Friend,” the theme from the 1970’s TV series The Courtship of Eddie’s Father, singing his 1980s hit song “Never Gonna Give You Up,” which has spawned the incomparable Internet meme, rickrolling. Very entertaining. The singer was recently honored at the 2008 MTV Europe Awards with the “Best Act Ever” award.
