Video: Tim Burton’s “Vincent”


Tim Burton’s brilliant six-minute stop-motion animation movie “Vincent” (1982) features the narration of screen legend and horror movie icon Vincent Price. The movie tells the story of a young boy who, obsessed both with Vincent Price and the stories of Edgar Allen Poe, is transported into a terrifying fantasy world.

Shallow Nation commemorates Halloween with this breakthrough film in Tim Burton’s career in which he fulfilled a dream in befriending and working with his lifelong idol, Vincent Price. Tim Burton later directed Vincent Price in Edward Scissorhands (1990).
