Grammy Award winning pop singer-songwriter Pink made an appearance on The Today Show. Watch the video and see promo photos for her fifth studio album, Funhouse, released on October 28, 2008, the same day as her appearance on the program.
Pink was interviewed briefly by Matt Lauer and she performed her No. 1 hit single, “So What” which has topped the charts in several countries, including the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Canada, German, and Ireland. It’s the lead single from Funhouse (LaFace Records/Zomba/Sony BMG).
Pink wrote “So What” in collaboration with Max Martin, K.K. Stryker and Shellback and in the interview she discussed the sarcasm of the autobiographical song which is about her separation from her husband, motocross racer, Carey Hart, whom she married in 2006. She noted that the song has also helped her to resolve the separation from her husband and enable them to become friends to the extend that he even made a cameo appearance in the video.
