Here is the official music video for Mariah Carey’s single, “I Stay in Love.” It’s the fourth single from her eleventh studio album, E=MC². Her husband, Nick Cannon directed the music video which was shot on location at the Bank Nightclub of The Bellagio Hotel and Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The music video, shot entirely in black and white and with a film noir cinematic style, dramatizes the lyrics of this appealing ballad, (which Mariah Carey wrote, with, Bryan-Michael Cox, Kendrick “Wyldcard” Dean, and Adonis Shropshire) with Mariah Carey appearing as a showgirl who has a stormy encounter with her lover.
The music video premiered on October 27, 2008 on BET Access Granted and Yahoo Music.
