This clip of a debate between Batman and The Penguin from the 1960s “Batman” TV series is eerily relevant. We could easily conclude that The Penguin is giving Senator John McCain his talking points. The Penguin, despite promising “no mudslinging,” takes Batman to task for associating with criminals and he questions why he wears a mask and conceals his past.
