Beyonce performs at the 2008 Bermuda Music Festival

Beyoncé delivered a crowd pleasing performance of legendary 1950s R&B singer Etta James‘ signature song “At Last” at the 2008 Bermuda Music Festival on October 2, 2008.  Beyonce’s highly anticipated (and still untitled) third studio album is scheduled for release on November 18, 2008.  The first two singles from the album, “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies,” are set for radio release on October 14, 2008.   A Beyonce tour is in the works for 2009

Beyonce portrays Etta James in the forthcoming movie, Cadillac Records, which will be released in theaters December 5, 2008. Directed by Darnell Martin, the movie is set in the 1950s and chronicles the life and times of  the legendary Chicago record executive Leonard Chess and stars Adrien Brody as Chess, Cedric the Entertainer as Willie Dixon, Mos Def as Chuck Berry, Columbus Short as Little Walter, Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters.
