Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama is on the cover of VIBE Magazine November 2008. VIBE Magazine has also officially endorsed Barack Obama’s Presidential candidacy; it’s the first time the magazine has ever endorsed a Presidential candidate. The magazine will also publish a letter from Obama.

In it, Obama urges [readers] to register to vote, saying, “We are at a defining moment in our history.”

“I am running for president to take this country in a new direction. But I can’t do it alone. I need you,” the letter reads. “Whether it’s the first time, or the first time in a long time, I need you to register and vote on November 4.”

For U.S. citizens 18 and over who have not registered to vote, visit Rock the Vote to fill out an online registration form to print and mail before the deadline, early October 2008 in most states. It is a very quick and easy process.

The historic VIBE November 2008 issue will be on sale on October 21, 2008. Senator Barack Obama was previously on the cover of VIBE September 2007 issue.
