Academy Award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson made an appearance on ABC’s The View on September 29, 2008, performing her hit single, “Spotlight,” from her self-titled debut album set for release on September 30, 2008.
In the interview with The View’s co-hosts, Jennifer Hudson shared the story of her remarkable achievements and meteoric rise to stardom from American Idol finalist to her Oscar winning performance in Dreamgirls (2006) and her role in the recent Sex and the City as well as her highly anticipated debut album. She also talked her recent engagement to Harvard Law School grad David Otunga who has achieved notoriety as “Punk” in the reality show “I Love New York 2.”
