Here is the first official trailer for the 2009 movie Notorious, biopic of the life and times of Notorious B.I.G., a.k.a. Biggy Smalls. The movie chronicles the meteoric rise to East Coast hip-hop musical fame of Brooklyn born Notorious B.I.G. (real name: Christopher Wallace) and his tragic, untimely death. The movie was directed by George Tillman Jr., written by Reggie Rock Bythewood and Cheo Hodari Coker and will be in theaters January 16, 2009.

The movie stars Jamal Woolard Notorious B.I.G., Angela Bassett as Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean Diddy Combs, Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur, Antonique Smith as Faith Evans, Sean Ringgold as Suge Knight, Charles Malik Whitfield as Wayne Barrow and Naturi Naughton as Lil Kim.
