The first movie poster and trailer for the 2008 movie Soul Men have been released. The movie stars Samuel L. Jackson, the late Bernie Mac and the late Isaac Hayes, and is directed by Malcolm D. Lee (Spike Lee’s cousin). The movie will be released in theaters on November 7, 2008.

In the comedy, written by Robert Ramsey and Matthew Stone, Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac portray the two remaining members of a popular 1970s soul band, The Real Deal. The men, who have been estranged for 20 years, agree to take a road trip together to the Apollo Theater for a musical tribute to their recently deceased front man. Isaac Hayes portrayed himself in the movie. The movie also costars Sharon Leal, Affion Crockett, P.J. Byrne, Jennifer Coolidge, Sean Hayes, John Legend, Adam Herschman, Fatso Fasano and Jackie Long.
