R&B singer-songwriter Kelly Roland and Irish pop-rock band The Script performed a cover of the classic Stevie Wonder 1985 chart-topping hit single “Part Time Lover” on Channel 4 T-Mobile Transmission during the last week of August 2008. The Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Kelly Rowland was, along with Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams, formerly of Destiny’s Child. She is now is working on her third studio album, set for release sometime in 2009. Her 2007 album was re-released earlier this year, Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe.
The Script’s self-titled debut album was released on August 11, 2008 in the UK. The trio is comprised of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power. For the BBC album review see: Review of The Script.
