Solange Knowles performed her chart topping hit single “I Decided” on The Today Show on August 26, 2008, as part of the Toyota Concert Series on Today. “I Decided” is the lead single from Solange’s sophomore solo studio album, SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams which was released on August 26, 2008 and is in stores now.
Matt Lauer interviewed Solange briefly before her performance and she discussed her experience of writing all of the songs on the new album, many of which have autobiographical elements.
