Solange, Michelle Williams and Terrence Howard performed at the J&R MusicFest 2008 at City Hall Park in New York City on August 21, 2008.  Electronics superstore J&R Musicworld sponsors the annual live outdoor concert event.

Solange Knowles’ sophomore solo studio album, SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams will be released on August 26, 2008.  Unexpected , the third solo studio album by former Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams, will be released on October 7, 2008.  Terrence Howard’s debut album Shine Through It will be released on September 2, 2008.
