Two more covers, featuring Ice Cube and Queen Latifah, for The Source magazine’s 20th anniversary issue September 2008 have surfaced. The previously released covers featured Nas and LL Cool J. Renown filmmaker Spike Lee is the guest photographer for the special issue.
The Source was recently purchased by the owners of Black Enterprise magazine and is the second longest running hip-hop magazine; second to the UK magazine Hip Hop Connection. Under the new ownership, the magazine will continue its extensive coverage of hip-hop music, culture and politics.
