Renown filmmaker Spike Lee is the guest photographer for The Source magazine’s 20th anniversary issue covers, September 2008. Four covers have been shoot, and proofs of the covers with Nas and LL Cool J have surfaced. The other two covers are unknown at this time.
Recently purchased by the owners of Black Enterprise magazine, The Source is the second longest running hip-hop magazine–second to the UK magazine Hip Hop Connection–and plans to continue trailblazing coverage of hip-hop music, culture and politics.
