Morris Day & The Time performed, “Skillet” and “Jungle Love,” “Cool” and “The Bird” on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on July 23, 2008, as part of the Summer Concert Series.  The 1980s R&B band, protegees of Prince, who produced their 1981 debut album The Time, were recently reunited at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2008, where they performed on stage with Rihanna.

The group has been on tour, recently and notably at the Essence Music Festival 2008. Morris Day & The Time are known for their exciting live performances and their Tonight Show performance was no exception.
