Ne-Yo performed “Closer” at the 2008 BET Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on June 24, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. “Closer” is the lead single from Ne-Yo’s forthcoming album, “Year of the Gentleman” which will be released in August 2008.
