Ashanti’s highly anticipated album, “The Declaration” was released on June 3, 2008 and the R&B star was everywhere in New York City — at the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) along with Wendy Williams, to a hand-printing ceremony at Planet Hollywood, to signing autographs and performing live at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square to a live performance at her MySpace Release event at the Knitting Factory.
