The one and only Queen of Disco, Donna Summer performed live on the 2008 American Idol 7 Season Finale on May 21, 2008, singing “Stamp Your Feet,” the first single from her new album, “Crayons.” Six of the female American Idol 7 finalists sang two of Donna Summer’s greatest hits — “She Works Hard for the Money and “Hot Stuff.” Donna Summer joined them in singing “Last Dance.”

Donna Summer is making a comeback and “Crayons,” is her first new album in 17 years. The remarkable Donna Summer was a chart topper in the 1970s and 1980s and she still holds the record for having three consecutive double albums hit #1 on the Billboard charts and she was first female recording artist to have four #1 singles in a 12 month period.
