Britney Spears returns to “How I Met Your Mother” on Monday, May 12, reprising her role as the receptionist, Abby, who is dating Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and wants to get back at Ted (Josh Radnor). CBS has released a new video clip of the upcoming episode.

The singer, 26, helped the show earn its highest ratings ever in March
when she made a guest appearance as Abby the receptionist.

And last week she was back on set to reprise her role.

‘I had such a great experience the last time I was on the show that I couldn’t wait to come back,’ she says.

‘I was really looking forward to working with this cast and crew again.

‘Everyone was so nice. Abby is going to have a lot of fun!

But this time, Abby – who last time fell in love with Ted - falls for Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris.
