The new trailer for the superhero action movie “Hancock” is now online. Three minutes long, the new Hancock movie trailer gives us a glimpse into the movie’s novel approach to a superhero, a “realistic” superhero with human flaws and foibles, like alcoholism. It’s a fascinating premise and this trailer shows some promise that the movie, opening, July 2 may be worthwhile.

Peter Berg directed the movie which is the story of Will Smith’s superhero character, Hancock, who saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman). In gratitude Embrey wants to rehabilitate Hancock’s public image. Meanwhile, Hancock becomes infatuated with Embrey’s wife played by Charlize Theron. With Hancock being a flawed and unusual superhero, the rest, no doubt, will be pandemonium.
