Speculation abounds that music superstars Beyonce and Jay-Z will get married tomorrow, Friday, April 4.

A day after applying for a marriage license with Beyoncé Knowles, Jay-Z got his party on after his show in Toronto. The hip-hop king had a private bash at downtown hot spot Lobby, where he had a blast chatting up guests and being surrounded by beautiful women.

Though a source told ET Canada that the celebration was merely an unofficial after-party for the concert, at least one observer says, “It looked like a bachelor party because soon the doors closed to all but the immediate guests. Jay-Z was laughing and happy and talking to everyone around him. It was amazing how many girls were flirting with him, but he was just being nice to everyone.” As if Jay-Z’s week couldn’t get any bigger, the rapper is also expected to sign a 10-year, $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation early next week, according to the Associated Press. He reportedly will receive $25 million upfront and another $10 million each for at least three studio albums.

“I’ve turned into the Rolling Stones of hip-hop,” Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Corey Carter), 38, told The New York Times, in a front-page story Thursday, of the deal – which also includes $25 million for concert tours and $50 million to finance the rapper’s other investments. (More.)

Beyonce and Jay-Z have dated since 2002.

One friend said: “Jay is trying to pull it together quickly to keep it quiet. They really wanted it to be private.”

Last month, Beyonce sparked engagement rumours after she was spotted wearing a diamond band on her ring finger.

It had been rumoured that Jay-Z proposed to Beyonce during a luxury holiday in Cannes, France, last May.

The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer has made no secret of her desire to settle down with Jay-Z.

She said: “I want to get married and I really want a family. In a perfect world I’d have two boys and a girl. You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other.”
